Terms and Conditions for the Sale of Tickets and Participation in the Event Shufflebattle – Battle of Europe
Introductory Provisions
1.1 These terms and conditions regulate the rights and obligations between the organizer, which is Kalafa’s Shuffle School z.s., Company ID: 08162433, with its registered office at [to be completed], listed in the association register (hereinafter referred to as the "organizer"), and the participants of the event (hereinafter referred to as the "participant").
1.2 The event refers to the dance competition Shufflebattle – Battle of Europe, workshops, accompanying events, and related programs organized by the organizer.
1.3 A participant is a person who has purchased a ticket for the event, workshop, or registered as a competitor.
Subject of Performance
2.1 The organizer offers the following types of tickets for sale:
Audience ticket – price 350 CZK (or equivalent in EUR).
Competitor ticket – price 500 CZK (or equivalent in EUR).
Workshop ticket – price 750 CZK (or equivalent in EUR).
2.2 When purchasing multiple workshops, the price decreases as follows:
2 workshops – 700 CZK / 1 workshop,
3 workshops – 650 CZK / 1 workshop,
4 workshops – 600 CZK / 1 workshop.
2.3 All prices are listed separately in Czech korunas (CZK) and euros (EUR).
2.4 Tickets for the event can only be purchased on-site (for audience and competitors), and only in cash, provided the event capacity allows.
Conclusion of Contract
3.1 The participant makes the order through the website www.shufflebattle.eu.
3.2 The contract between the organizer and the participant is concluded at the moment the payment is credited to the organizer's account via a payment gateway or bank transfer.
3.3 A ticket reservation is created only after the full price has been paid. Unpaid orders are invalid and do not entitle the participant to attend the event.
Prices and Payment Conditions
4.1 Ticket prices are set by the organizer and published on the website www.shufflebattle.eu.
4.2 Payment is possible online by credit card or bank transfer through the payment gateway.
4.3 Tickets purchased on-site can only be paid in cash, provided the event capacity allows.
4.4 A ticket reservation is created only upon successful payment.
4.5 The organizer reserves the right to change prices; price changes do not affect tickets that have already been paid for.
Cancellation and Withdrawal from the Contract
5.1 The participant is entitled to cancel their participation (withdraw from the contract) no later than 5 days before the event. In this case, the participant is entitled to a full refund.
5.2 If participation is cancelled less than 5 days before the event, the participant is not entitled to a refund of the ticket price or any other compensation.
5.3 The refund will be processed by the organizer to the participant’s account within 30 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
5.4 If the organizer cancels the event, they are obliged to refund 100% of the ticket price to the participant.
5.5 The date and location of the main event cannot be changed; if such a change occurs, the participant has the right to a 100% refund.
5.6 The organizer is entitled to change the location of the workshop. If the participant disagrees with the change, they have the right to a 100% refund for the workshop.
Participation Conditions and Safety
6.1 The capacity of the OX club, where the event is held, is set at 800 persons. The organizer is entitled to stop selling tickets or deny entry if the capacity is exceeded.
6.2 The maximum number of competing dancers is 200. Once this capacity is reached, no further registrations will be accepted.
6.3 Any person who has purchased a ticket can participate in the event. Dancers under 18 years of age may only participate if accompanied by a legal guardian, who assumes responsibility for them.
6.4 Competition rules:
The jury, consisting of five judges, decides on the advancement to the "Top 32" finals.
Battles take place in a 1v1 format, with the jury deciding who advances to the next round in each round.
In the team choreography category, a team of 3–7 dancers may register. The team must provide the DJ with the music before the performance. The jury will then determine the best choreography from all the registered teams.
6.5 Participants are required to follow the organizer's and staff's instructions, respect safety rules, care for their health and the health of others, and not damage the venue’s facilities.
Rights and Obligations of Participants
7.1 The participant is responsible for any damage caused to the property of the organizer, OX club, or other participants.
7.2 Alcohol consumption is allowed only for individuals over 18 years of age. The organizer has the right to ask for proof of age.
7.3 The use, possession, or distribution of narcotics or psychoactive substances (drugs) is strictly prohibited. A participant violating this rule may be immediately excluded from the event without the right to a refund.
7.4 Each participant is fully responsible for their health status and any injuries incurred while participating in the event. The organizer is not liable for such injuries, except in cases where they can be proven to have been caused by the organizer's fault.
7.5 A first aid kit is available on-site for basic treatment.
Photographs and Video Recordings
8.1 The organizer will take photographs and video recordings during the event for documentation and promotional purposes.
8.2 By purchasing a ticket, the participant acknowledges and agrees that they may be captured in photographs and video recordings, which may later be used by the organizer for promotional and marketing purposes (e.g., website, social media, print materials).
8.3 The participant is not entitled to any financial or other compensation regarding the creation or use of photographs and video recordings.
Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
9.1 The data controller is Kalafa’s Shuffle School z.s., Company ID: 08162433, with its registered office at [to be completed].
9.2 The organizer collects only the nickname (alias) of the competitors when registering.
9.3 This data is used exclusively for organizational purposes of the event – particularly for creating competition brackets, presenting competitors, and communicating during the event.
9.4 The data is not used for marketing purposes, not shared with third parties, and is stored only for as long as necessary for evaluating the competition and creating official results.
9.5 The participant has the right to request access to the stored data, its correction, or deletion after the event ends.
Event Organization and Entry Control
10.1 The organizer does not provide any merchandise or other supplementary products for sale.
10.2 The organizer provides free refreshments in the form of non-alcoholic beverages and packaged snacks for competing dancers.
10.3 Spectators can purchase refreshments and drinks directly at the OX club bar.
10.4 The event will take place even if certain competitors are absent, as the organizer has confirmed a sufficient number of dancers to ensure a full program.
10.5 Tickets are checked upon entry by hostesses who scan the QR code. If the participant has not purchased the ticket in advance, they can buy it on-site (cash only), provided the club's capacity has not been exceeded.
Complaints and Grievances
11.1 The participant is entitled to file a complaint or grievance regarding the event organization via the organizer’s email: [to be completed].
11.2 The organizer commits to address the complaint or grievance and respond to the participant within 30 days of receiving it.
11.3 Complaints can only be made regarding organizational and technical issues of the event. Complaints cannot be filed regarding competition results, the jury's decisions, or individual participants' performances.
Final Provisions
12.1 These terms and conditions are an integral part of the contract concluded between the organizer and the participant.
12.2 The organizer is entitled to unilaterally change the terms and conditions. The new version of the terms and conditions comes into effect on the day of its publication on the website www.shufflebattle.eu. Changes do not affect already purchased tickets.
12.3 All legal relationships between the organizer and participants are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
12.4 Any disputes between the organizer and the participant will be resolved before the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
12.5 These terms and conditions take effect on September 1, 2025.
