I was born in South Africa to Portuguese parents, spent six years living in the UK, and I’m now based in Portugal, so I’ve always carried a bit of everywhere with me. I’ve danced throughout my life, but nothing stuck quite like shuffling. I started in 2020, and for the past five years, it’s been my main focus. I’ve been teaching for 4 of those, starting with in-person classes in Manchester and now sharing my love for shuffle online and through workshops around Europe.

I’m incredibly passionate about dance, it lights me up. I regularly train in house, hip hop, breakdance and Afro, and I love weaving elements of these styles into my shuffle, especially when freestyling or creating choreography with others. In March 2025, I competed at The Shuffle League in Barcelona and made it to the Top 16, which was such a proud moment for me. One of my big dreams is to open my own dance studio and keep building spaces where people can grow, connect and express themselves through movement.

What I’m most excited for at this event is being surrounded by the community again. These kinds of gatherings have genuinely shaped my life and deepened my passion for shuffling. I can’t wait to witness the creativity, individuality and growth everyone brings to the stage, and to experience it all from the judge’s seat, offering my perspective and support. I’m so grateful to be part of this.
